Hi, I'm Kilian Toulliou, a Linux Systems and Kubernetes Engineer living in France. I run and automate infrastructure: Linux systems, Kubernetes clusters, networking, CI/CD, observability, and everything that keeps it running.
What I advocate for
Self-hosting and data sovereignty: running your services on hardware you control, with software you can audit, instead of handing your data to a platform whose terms and location you do not decide.
On the method side, I work the DevSecOps, DevOps and NetOps way: infrastructure declared as code and kept under version control, security folded into the build chain rather than added at the end, and the network driven by automation just like the servers.
Why this blog
Mostly to share my projects with friends, colleagues and students, and to give my take on the technologies I test or use every day: what works, what does not, and why I picked one over another.
Notes are short and practical, closer to "how do I do X". Projects are longer write-ups, from an empty repository to production, or a direct link to the code when it is already public.
